Although there is considerable research about weight loss and fat loss in general, there is not research into the ways to target the area around the face. Many have issues with it, because they lose weight and yet still maintain chubby cheeks often referred to as baby fat by some. This does not denote obesity by any means in everyone, but for those who suffer from it, it can obviously be embarrassing, especially when it results in a double chin, appropriate to your normal weight or not. For the most part, you can work your body in general and burn more fat and therefore lose more weight. But in the area around the face, there are no ways to target those muscles. However, if you eat in a healthy manner and decrease fat and weight in general, then eventually over time the fat in your facial area will also come off with time, exercise, and diet. It is more of a matter of being patient for some than others, and you should also keep in mind that there is a chance for some that you may well grow out of it and therefore not have to deal with it as long as you actually think.
